For the Missionary Benedictines of the Manila Priory, this prayer is traditionally recited before the blessing at Compline, the prayer that closes the day.
God our Father, you blessed St. Benedict both in grace and in name. Through his intercession may we be defended from all the snares of the devil. May we find strength and comfort at the hour of death, and may we rejoice in your love and protection today and every day of our life. We make our prayer through, Christ our Lord. Amen.
