Benedictines goes K-pop Dance

Benedictine Sisters’ performance during the Alumni Homecoming at St. Scholastica’s College Manila.

Association of Benedictine Schools

In 1975, our Manila Priory adopted a four-pronged thrust which up to this day, influences the direction of our Priory. 1. That our institutional apostolates be socially oriented. 2. That we foster non-institutional apostolates. 3. That we initiate direct missionary work in the Philippines. 4. That we continue the sending of Filipina Sisters to the FOREIGN MISSIONS. Our Benedictine Spirit shall characterize these endeavors by a continuous striving to build community not only among ourselves but also with the people we serve; and by developing a vibrant liturgical spirituality that will draw us all into one worshipping community.

Manila Priory has been consistent in heeding the Church’s call for environmental stewardship. Through various priory-wide initiatives, community action, institutionalized measures, and networking, the Priory has begun to create a culture of care, love, responsibility and accountability for Mother Earth.

The mission is not ended. Manila Priory will continue to do its part in building up our COMMON HOME.
